Description

Invigorate your space with a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity with this unique artwork inspired by Van Gogh's "Wheat Field with Cypresses".

The vibrant energy of Van Gogh’s wheat fields is framed by bold geometric shapes, creating a captivating contrast between classic landscape and contemporary abstraction. The dynamic golden hues and sweeping textures bring warmth and movement, while the geometric framing adds a modern twist.

Framing & Print Options

Artworks are printed on either canvas or fine art paper. You can select framed or unframed.

Framed Canvas Prints

Our superior framed canvas prints feature a 38mm stretched canvas within a traditional picture frame. The simple addition of a wooden picture frame gives a completely different ‘look’ to your Giclée printed wall art, quite distinct from a standard print-on-demand canvas.

The thin frame sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas, helping to create a floating border.

Unframed Canvas Prints

The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame. Each custom-stretched canvas begins with a 12-colour Giclée print. We then make a custom wooden frame from European knotless pine and stretch the rolled canvas print over it. The canvas is then hand-finished, ensuring each corner fold is perfectly smooth and tight. Each canvas frame is milled with a curved profile, minimising contact with the face of the canvas to prevent unsightly impression marks and surface cracking. We use finger-jointed canvas frames to create corner tension that helps resist warping. For larger sizes, we add wooden wedges to each corner, ensuring the canvas surface remains taut and allowing for easy re-stretching in future years.

Framed Fine Art Paper Prints

Our premium fine art paper prints can be framed in our Classic frames, crafted from sustainably sourced wood and delivered ready to hang.

Available to order in black, white, or natural, our custom picture frames come with a durable Perspex glaze to protect the artwork.

Unframed Fine Art Paper Prints

A premium-quality, heavyweight fine art print material with a smooth, clean finish. This museum-quality paper is extremely consistent and works perfectly with large, full-colour graphics or illustrations.

The matte finish emphasises different highlights and tones in the source artworks, helping to create stunning works of art.

Please note: Unframed fine art paper prints will be sent in a cardboard tube.

The portrait of my younger daughter is more than just art; it captures a moment in time and holds great personal significance. Working with Marcus was a seamless and friendly process, and the final piece exceeded all expectations. It’s no surprise it won the Shirley Hannan Portrait Prize. Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have original paintings for sale?

Yes, I have a collection of original paintings available! You can explore these one-of-a-kind pieces on my Originals page where each artwork is designed to bring depth, beauty, and emotion into your space.

When you commission a painting from me, you’re investing in a piece that captures something profoundly personal, enhancing your space with energy, depth, and beauty.

How much does it cost to commission a painting or drawing?

Prices for portrait drawings start at just £500.

Prices for commissioned original paintings are based on factors like complexity, level of detail, and materials. They typically range from £2,000 for smaller works up to £25,000 for large-scale pieces.

Whether you're looking for an expressive abstract or a deeply personal portrait, there’s a range of options to suit different spaces and investment levels.

Every piece is unique, offering you the opportunity to own a distinctive work of art that reflects your personal taste.

How long will a commission take?

The timeline for a commission depends on the size and complexity of the piece, as well as my current waitlist. Here’s a general guide:

  • Small portrait drawings: 2 to 4 weeks.
  • Small-sized portrait paintings: 1 to 2 months.
  • Abstract paintings: Around 6 weeks.

How do I hang my canvas print?

Canvas prints normally just hang on a screw or a nail, no additional hardware is needed or required.

If a canvas is strung with a wire or cord it will lean off the wall like a conventional picture frame which is not how canvas prints are intended to be hung as they need to be flush with the wall.
